Volunteers are the heart of ANC and make it possible for us to serve our community each and every week. Volunteers are needed the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month and every Friday.

What to expect when volunteering?

Arrive 1 to 2 hours prior to clients arriving.

Assist with setting up folding tables for the placement of food to be distributed at the beginning of each work day.

Pack boxes or bags of food to be distributed.

Assist with loading boxes or bags of food in clients' cars.
-
Break down cardboard boxes to be placed in the rubbish bin throughout the day.
-
Empty all trash cans at the end of the day.
-
Wipe, break down, and stow away folding tables at the end of the day.
-
Sweep/mop.
-
Have fun!
Foodbank Policies:
-
Covered footwear, masks, and gloves are required at all times.
-
Please stay at home if sick.
-
Eat in designated areas only.
-
No pets or young children allowed.

Volunteers may accept a distribution after all clients are served and after signing in.

All volunteers must complete the Civil Rights Training (short PPT below).
-
Please be polite and treat everyone with respect and dignity.
