Who We Are And What We Do

Making A Difference

Founded in 1989 by the late Ivy Olson, Angel Network Charities, Inc. (ANC) began as a grassroots, all-volunteer organization that set out to help a few families in need in East Oahu, Hawaii. Over the years, ANC has provided a variety of services to help members of our community. Today, ANC continues to operate as a private, non-profit organization serving Oahu's homeless and at-risk families as a foodbank. ANC is supported by Calvary by the Sea Lutheran Church and is run by a part-time manager, a group of dedicated, hardworking volunteers and a nine member board of directors.

ANC received an award from President George H. W. Bush and was also recognized with the "Thousand Points of Light" award, presented to ANC founder Ivy Olson by President Bill Clinton.
